Filmmakers: Submit your video's by February 15th! (22 and under only). Read below for more detsils:

NFFTY (NATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL FOR TALENTED YOUTH) is now accepting films from any filmmaker 22 years old and younger from around the world in the categories of narrative, documentary, animation, experimental, music video, and our newest category, action sports.

NFFTY 2010 will be held April 29-May 2 with screenings and events at Seattle Cinerama, SIFF Cinema, Seattle Center House and Experience Music Project | Science Fiction Museum & Hall of Fame.

Action Sport category deadline is February 15th. To submit your film visit:http://www.nffty.org/

In order to meet eligibility criteria for NFFTY 2010:

1) The films director must have been 22 years old or younger at completion of filming.2) All music and other copyrighted material used in films must be original or filmmaker must have obtained permission from the owner.3) The film must be in English or subtitled in English.

All films (national and international) may be submitted into only one of the following categories:

Feature: any narrative film over 30 minutes in lengthShort: any narrative short film under 30 minutesDocumentary: documentary of any lengthMusic Video: music video of any lengthAnimation: any form of animation, any lengthAction Sports: any short film under 30 minutes that represents skateboard, inline, snowboard, surf, moto, wake, BMX, or freeski.Experimental: any length film that does not fit the mold of typical filmmaking

Films that have environmental awareness, peace, and social justice themes will receive special recognition and may be screened collectively at a special NFFTY Earth screening.
