The big story of Friday night's competition came when Maddison threw the Volt in both qualifying runs, as well as the final. The Volt isn't a new trick by any means -- Kyle Loza threw it down at X Games 13 to win gold in Best Trick -- but Maddison took it one step further by throwing it in his freestyle run.
