Cardo Systems, long known for its communications technology across the powersports industry, has officially entered the motorcycle helmet market with the launch of its first fully integrated helmet line, BEYOND. The new BEYOND GTS and BEYOND GT helmets mark the company’s shift from standalone communications units to a complete, built-in system that blends helmet protection, audio performance, and rider connectivity in a single platform.
The move follows two decades of development in rider communication systems and four years of focused research and testing specific to helmet integration. Cardo describes the BEYOND lineup as a rethink of what a motorcycle helmet can be—one that merges safety systems and ride data with advanced audio and communications.
A key component of the BEYOND line is the debut of the first-ever 53mm helmet speakers, developed by Cardo Sound Labs to deliver higher clarity and volume than typical helmet audio systems. The helmets also introduce Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) built specifically for motorcycle environments, aiming to reduce wind noise and slow long-term hearing fatigue without isolating the rider from surrounding traffic sounds.
One of the more notable safety additions is a helmet health indicator, which monitors the structural condition of the helmet and alerts the rider when its impact protection may be compromised. The BEYOND line further includes an integrated crash detection function designed to notify emergency contacts in the event of an impact.

“After 20 years at the forefront of rider communication, this is a breakthrough moment for Cardo Systems,” said Cardo CEO Alon Lumbroso. “It’s not just about adding features. It’s about integrating them in a way that is seamless and intuitive for motorcyclists.”
The flagship BEYOND GTS features a carbon fiber shell with a multi-density EPS liner and is certified under both DOT and ECE 22.06 standards. The helmet has been wind-tunnel tested to improve stability at speed and includes a Pinlock® 200 anti-fog shield, a retractable sun visor, and an Active Brake Light designed to increase visibility when decelerating.
Communication features standard in the GTS include Cardo’s Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC) intercom system, Bluetooth pairing, hands-free voice control, and a claimed range of up to 2 km. The helmet also includes a detachable and wirelessly chargeable battery module, serviceable padding, and the option to upgrade internal tech components as new systems are released.
The BEYOND GT model offers a more accessible alternative, replacing the carbon shell with a lightweight fiberglass construction and using a Pinlock® 120XLT shield. It maintains compatibility with ANC technology and includes a 1000mA battery, though without wireless charging.
Both helmets feature ventilation systems designed to reduce fogging and manage heat on long rides, along with moisture-wicking liners and customizable fit components.
The BEYOND GTS and GT will be available in summer 2026 with a MSRP for the GTS of $1199.00/€1199.00 and the GT at $949.00/€949.00. Learn more at cardobeyond.com.
