rand Prix Plaza, the 39-acre Formula 1 fan and entertainment complex located at the home of the FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX, will officially reopen on January 30, 2026, with several new upgrades and attractions aimed at expanding the year-round motorsport experience in the city.

The venue, described as the largest Formula 1–themed attraction in North America, is returning with a redesigned F1 DRIVE electric karting circuit, an advanced upgrade to its F1 X 4D Theater, and new private event spaces for small groups. It will also continue to serve as a hub for Formula 1 simulators, merchandise, and fan engagement.

“Grand Prix Plaza embodies the innovation and energy that defines Formula 1 in Las Vegas,” said Emily Prazer, President and CEO of Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc. and Grand Prix Plaza. “As we approach its second season of operation, we’re unveiling new experiences that take that vision even further, allowing us to find new and exciting ways to partner with the local community.”

One of the biggest enhancements for 2026 is the theater upgrade. The F1 X 4D Theater now incorporates Liminal Space’s “Ghost Tile” stereoscopic LED technology, which produces holographic visual effects that appear to float in real space around the audience. Combined with motion-responsive seating, immersive sound and light, and physical sensory effects, the updated experience is designed to simulate the intensity of a Formula 1 race — from wheel-to-wheel battles to pit stop pressure.

The F1 DRIVE karting experience has also been redesigned with a wider and more dynamic layout. The refreshed track is intended to create more overtaking opportunities and allow drivers to push a bit harder, whether they are first-timers or experienced visitors returning to post faster laps. The electric karts continue to take visual and aerodynamic inspiration from Formula 1 car design.

The complex will also introduce new small-group event lounges — intimate spaces designed for celebrations, private gatherings, bachelor and bachelorette weekends, or corporate team outings. Grand Prix Plaza will continue to feature the F1 HUB, which includes F1 SIM racing stations with full-motion seats, the largest official Formula 1 merchandise retailer in the United States, and a lounge offering food, drinks, and televised race coverage.

To celebrate the reopening, Grand Prix Plaza will launch a promotional giveaway offering fans a chance to win a package that includes access to multiple attractions — including F1 X, F1 SIMS and the full F1 DRIVE experience — along with merchandise and food and beverage credits. The promotion will run during the Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend and at the F1 HUB at The Venetian Resort. No purchase is required to participate.

During race weekend, fans will also encounter pop-up versions of several Plaza experiences throughout the circuit footprint, including racing simulators in premium hospitality spaces, an interactive Pit Wall display, photo zones, and a preview installation of the upgraded F1 X 4D Theater.

Grand Prix Plaza will reopen to the public on January 30, 2026. Tickets for the 2026 season will be released at a later date, and fans can register for early updates at grandprixplaza.com. Once open, the Plaza will operate from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. The F1 X Theater will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
