MG: It’s nice preparing for a race like Red Bull Stone Scramble as its much more laid back and about having fun. I’m racing a basically bone stock Polaris RZR Pro XP that is completely capable for these races and it makes it easy on me!
AST: What is fun about an event like this?
MG: Red Bull Stone Scramble first is awesome because it’s a completely new event. And who doesn’t like a completely new track layout and venue. It sets everyone on an even playing field and everyone can enjoy and experience a completely new/different type of race.
I’m getting excited for Red Bull Stone Scramble coming up. After Red Bull Mountain Scramble, I can’t wait to see what they come up with for the racecourse. I know Brimstone has many fun trails, so I’m excited to get out there. I’m also just pumped to get back racing, the competition in Tennessee is stiff, and the racing is a blast so I can’t wait to go bang doors again.
AST: Does racing in something like this give you a mental reset as you are in a tight battle for the off road title?
MG: Yes racing in the Red Bull Scramble Series is a total mental reset for me. Usually races are full of a lot of prep and stress to make sure things are 100 percent ready but coming to the Scramble races is all about having a good time and enjoying the racing and the entire experience.

The Red Bull Stone Scramble racecourse covers approximately nine miles per lap with racers completing up to three laps during the race, so racers have to be on their A-game the minute the green flag waves.
