SUPER73 has officially unveiled its newest electric bike, the SUPER73-MZFT, marking a fresh chapter for the Orange County–based lifestyle brand known for blending moto-inspired design with everyday rideability. The MZFT is positioned as a welcoming entry into the world of electric bikes, designed for younger riders, first-timers, daily commuters, and anyone ready to jump into the SUPER73 community without the higher price tags of the brand’s flagship models.

The MZFT represents the first model in SUPER73’s next generation lineup. It was shaped heavily by real feedback from the company’s highly engaged rider base — affectionately known as the “Super Squad.” SUPER73 CEO Travis Erwin says that collaboration is at the core of the launch.

“With the SUPER73-MZFT, we paired our deep history of moto culture with our continued commitment to innovation and accessibility,” Erwin said. “This lineup is not only our answer to the evolving industry, but also our promise to keep the SUPER73 experience rooted in adventure and individuality. Our aim is to ignite confidence, curiosity, and excitement with new riders while continuing to support our loyal community.”

A Compact Frame Built for Real-World Riding

Though approachable in size, the MZFT is designed to be tough. SUPER73 calls its frame the most durable it has ever released, intended to withstand everyday use, small jumps, city shortcuts, and dirt-path detours. The bike features a 500W motor capable of speeds up to 20 mph, giving riders smooth acceleration and enough power to handle neighborhood hills and urban inclines.

The seat height sits at 27 inches, making the bike easy to mount and comfortable for a wide range of riders, from teenagers to adults. A thoughtful internal storage compartment built directly into the bike provides a secure place to stash essentials such as a phone, portable speaker, or bike lock.

Range and Ride Enhancements

The MZFT includes a new electric powertrain that improves uphill performance and throttle response. Riders also have the option to add a modular second battery, extending the bike’s range to around 40 miles depending on terrain and ride mode. Additional performance features include hydraulic disc brakes for confident stopping and all-terrain Vee Jakal tires suitable for pavement and mixed surfaces.

Style and Simplicity

The SUPER73-MZFT will debut in two colorways: Cullen Berry, a rich, expressive hue, and Titanium Ore, a refined neutral finish. The bike weighs 85 pounds, striking a balance between durability and manageability. An LED headlight and taillight come standard to maintain visibility during early-morning rides, late summer sunsets, or dusk commutes.

The MZFT also serves as a stylistic bridge between SUPER73’s youth models and its full-size Z-, S-, and R-series bikes. It carries the instantly recognizable SUPER73 silhouette, yet remains accessible in both cost and feel, encouraging riders who may be purchasing their first electric bike.

A Bike Designed to Introduce More Riders to the Community

From after-school meetups and weekend coffee runs to neighborhood cruising and local trail exploring, the MZFT is built to encourage movement and play. It represents an intentional step toward making the SUPER73 lifestyle easier to join — whether a rider is 14 or 40.

SUPER73 has built its brand not just on products, but on community meetups, group rides, and a shared sense of exploration. The MZFT leans into that culture, offering newcomers a ready-made doorway into a worldwide network of riders.

The SUPER73-MZFT is available now at super73.com, along with the brand’s full range of accessories and customization options.
