Oracle Red Bull Racing has unveiled its new RB22 Formula 1 car ahead of its official on-track debut at today’s Barcelona Shakedown, offering fans an exclusive first look at the team’s latest challenger in its signature gloss livery.

The RB22 marks the beginning of a new chapter for Red Bull as the team prepares for the 2026 season, with the car set to run Red Bull Ford Powertrains’ new power unit, the DM01, for the first time. The Barcelona outing will serve as the first opportunity for the team to gather early data and begin refining performance ahead of the season’s official start.

Reigning World Champion Max Verstappen will lead Red Bull’s efforts once again, joined by new teammate Isack Hadjar, who is set to make his debut with the team. Both drivers are scheduled to get behind the wheel at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, putting the RB22 through its initial paces while also debuting new helmet designs and updated Sparco race suits for the upcoming campaign.

The reveal was accompanied by official photography and video content captured at the Red Bull Technology Campus by photographer Vladimir Rys. Red Bull has made imagery of the RB22, along with updated visuals of Verstappen’s and Hadjar’s helmets and race gear, available through the Red Bull Content Pool.

Red Bull also shared key technical details of the RB22 package, which includes the newly introduced Red Bull Ford Powertrains DM01 power unit, an eight-speed transmission designed and built in-house at Red Bull Technology, and technical partnerships with Esso Synergy fuel and Mobil 1 oil. The car will feature carbon-carbon composite brakes with Brembo callipers and OZ 18-inch rims, consistent with modern Formula 1 wheel regulations.

With its first laps in Barcelona, the RB22 begins its journey toward what promises to be a highly anticipated season for Red Bull Racing, as the team looks to continue its championship success while integrating new powertrain technology and a fresh driver lineup alongside Verstappen.
