The apple is not the only big, red staple in Manhattan, the City now has a counterpart that exudes luxury and style, and its name is none other than Ducati. The Italian-based motorcycle manufacturer has recently opened an exclusive landmark retailer location in the heart of NYC and, wow, do they know how to throw a grand opening.

Greeted with a red carpet, velvet stanchions, a branded photo wall and, of course, champagne, the creators of Italian two-wheel speed machines know how to welcome guests. The newest exclusive retailer, located at 155 6th Ave., New York, NY 10013, is adorned with the brand’s top motorcycles such as the XDiavel, the legendary racing Scrambler and the Monster, just to name a few.

Along with these beautifully crafted works of art, the new location boasts in the company’s apparel, accessories and collectible items that are specific to the enthusiast in everyone. Ducati definitely knows their audience, this became even more prevalent after they gave me a branded espresso cup and saucer for a parting gift.

Thanks, Ducati! (They must have known I am a coffee addict).

The showroom’s immaculate design also allows for visitors to funnel through seamlessly without feeling cluttered or rushed. The architects and designers of the dealership have crafted various rooms, such as a tranquil customer lounge and vibrant service area, to give each New Yorker and guest the rare notion of space that is not typically found within the City limits.

On top of the beautifully planned grand opening, Ducati also brought in both Global and North American executives, and brand icons such as, Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali, Ducati North American CEO Jason Chinnock and Ducati MotoGP™ team rider Jorge Lorenzo.

“The opening of this new Monobrand Ducati Store represents a further step forward in the process of continuous improvement of the quality of our network internationally,” said Domenicali. “Riders here are enthusiastic and passionate about their bikes, and the riding terrain is very diverse, from the urban landscape here in the city to the rural roads a few hours away. We feel this new showroom will be a location where motorcyclists of all skills can gather as a community, experience our new models in a fresh space, and head out to their favorite riding roads.”

He is right. Moto-enthusiasts can congregate at this location because the store is over 7,500 square-feet and is a great atmosphere for two-wheel riders.

Another guest of honor and excited participant was Steven Radt who is the new General Manager and Owner of Ducati New York.

“This new facility is giving us the chance to offer our customers the best service possible with a wide selection of Ducati’s new offerings,” said Radt. “The location has always been easily accessible, right in the heart of the City, but now focused as an exclusive retailer we’re fully invested in sharing our singular passion for the Ducati brand with loyal clients as well as new riders eager to join the Ducati family.”
