#paintmyballs

It not often that when there is a lot of talk about “balls” and not in the traditional sports sense of the word, it usually is for a laugh or something worse.

Guys got talking online this week, about their balls, and for good reason. BY doing so, they stood a chance to win $25K.

People have been using male genitals as a punchline for decades in Internet memes and IRL pranks. But having balls is actually a good thing, so Dollar Shave Club wants guys to be proud of them and give them the artistic respect they deserve. That’s why we asked people to tell us in 280 words or less on Twitter how their testicles make them resilient, confident and vulnerable. The best two entries will get $25K and their precious pair turned into fine art by artist Serge Gay Jr.

Yep, that’s a five figure payday just by tweeting about their balls.

And so far the tweets have delivered. In just over 24 hours, already 300+ people have written in – here’s a sampling of some of the hysterical (and heartfelt) entries so far:

HOW PEOPLE CAN GET $25K FOR DESCRIBING THEIR BALLS?

From July 21 through August 3, describe what they mean to you by replying to @DollarShaveClub on Twitter using #paintmyballs and for the chance to win.

Don’t go for the easy laugh, dig a little deeper and be more creative. Use poetry, write song lyrics, or tell us a story. All in 280 characters or less.
