For a country with a population of just 10 million, Sweden is producing a number of exceptional freeride mountain bikers. In order to better understand what is happening in this Scandinavian country to produce such talent, the brand new series titled Ride with the Swedes embeds the viewer with two legends of the sport, World Champions Martin Söderstrom and Emil Johannson.
Follow the duo as they head to the opening of the season in New Zealand where they’re able to shred new trails. We join Martin as he heads to Châtel to guinea pig the Reboul Jam slopesyle course. A highlight of the series is following Emil as he prepares himself and competes in the biggest freeride mountain biking event in the world, Red Bull Rampage. Accompany him on his trip to Utah as he builds the line he will ride, rides previous sites and gets mentally prepared for one of the most difficult lines he’s ever ridden. To wrap up the series, join one of the biggest parties in Sweden as Emil and Martin head to Dirt King in Sweden. From big trains to lake jumps, you won’t want to miss the fun of the final episode.
