In partnership with with Bungie (renowned video game developer), Xbox powered the dreams of one gamer and broke a Guinness World Records title for “Largest Projected Video Game Display” to celebrate the new next-gen update of Destiny 2: Beyond Light.
After snowboarder and dreamer Grant Giller’s last run of the day on Copper Mountain, Xbox and Bungie powered an epic Xbox Series X gaming experience for Grant by projecting Destiny 2 onto a 180ft by 105ft wide screen on the side of the mountain with the skyline of Colorado’s 10-mile mountain range lit up in the background. The game session took game session took place at an elevation of over 11,000 feet making this one of the highest elevation projects ever produced, and the whole setting was inspired by Europa, a new destination in Destiny 2.
