2021 Fly Racing Racewear Line Up.

Fly Racing introduces new 2021 gear including their first zipperless pant

Summer is quickly wrapping up. Another summer riding dirt bikes, atv’s and side by sides. The best and only way to spend a summer, obviously. But now, you are looking at your gear and noticing it is a little dicey. A couple of tears here and there and it just isn’t up to par anymore. So you are looking to upgrade.

Meet the 2021 Fly Racing Lite’s line up. Not just for the boys, the ladies gear is the exact same quality. Fly Racing still being the only product company creating a ladies specific line for the top female professional riders out there and even if you aren’t a pro, this gear is still for you.

Minimalist might be completely misconstrued here. Don’t worry, your body is completely covered, but you feel like you are wearing nothing. The lightweight 4 stretch fabric makes the pants feel like soft yoga work out pants while still giving you the protection you need in the places you need thanks to the DuPont Kevlar stitched in.

I spent the last two months in the gear riding everything and anything that had a motor and I can say its the best I have worn while riding in yet.

The Lite racewear line was created to be lightweight (hence the name), breathable and athletic fitting. Nowadays, there are a lot of companies that are producing an athletic-fitting line of gear with the same goals in mind, but Fly Racing is the first major brand to come out with a zipperless pant. Instead of the standard zipper and ratchet-type or velcro closure, the Fly Racing Lite pant doesn’t have an opening in the front and instead, it features the Boa System dial closure. Fly Racing has featured the Boa System on their pants in seasons past, but it has always been on opposite side of the waistband on the back of the pant. The new design was intended to lower the weight of the pant and continue to evolve the minimalist style that is trending in the motocross gear market.

What is the Boa System?

While the pants are perfect, a gear set would not be complete without a mathcing top. So lets talk jerseys. The Lite jersey is full of awesome features that makes you look like a pro rider even when you are old and washed up.

2021 Fly Racing Lite Gear Lines

Lite Jersey Features include:

  • Laser-cut perforations help dissipate heat
  • Zero-cuff arm openings with reinforced mesh gussets provide unrestrictive mobility and a comfortable fit
  • Mesh ventilation panels dissipate unwanted heat
  • Multi-panel construction for maximum performance and comfortable fit
  • Low profile multi-directional tagless mesh collar
  • Extended tail helps keep jersey tucked in
  • Athletic fit: fits close to the body with minimal excess

2021 Fly Racing Evolution DST Gear Lines

If the Lite gear isn’t for you, don’t worry. Fly Racing has you covered with the Evolution DST Racewear.

Evolution DST is FLY Racing’s most progressive performance pant to date that combines ALL-way stretch mobility with heavy-duty durability for when flexibility and toughness are of equal importance. So now you still get the flexibility of the Lite gear mixed in with the extra toughness you want from the gear.

In addition, the Evolution DST is not as form fitting as the Lite Gear so if you need a little extra room or you aren’t as fit as you once were, this probably is the set up you need.

2021 Fly Racing FR5 Boots

Pair any of these jersey/pant combos with the FR5 boot and you have the total package. You can run in these boots and not feel like you are encumbered by wearing a boot. Easily the most flexible boot on the market. Built into the boot is a hinge point just above the ankle. There are “bio-mechanical pivots” on the inside and outside of the ankle that create increased stability and support, as well as reducing “break-in” time. Additionally, with high end features like a molded sole and aluminum buckles, the FR5 is a premium product that comes with a price tag that wont break the bank.
